Marissa Hilotina

Physiotherapist

Marissa’s career is built on a foundation of professional excellence and a deep-seated belief in compassionate care. Graduating as a full scholar from a top university in the Philippines, she spent years mastering her craft in both private practice and hospital settings. This comprehensive background made her an expert in treating a vast range of conditions, from sports injuries to the most complex inpatient needs.

Upon moving to Australia in 2017, Marissa seamlessly integrated her skills into new environments like private practice, aged care, and community sports. She further enhanced her expertise by completing her Graduate Diploma in Clinical Rehabilitation at Flinders University in South Australia. This has given her a unique and valuable perspective, allowing her to confidently tackle even the most complex cases across the spectrum, whether they are in the geriatric, neurological, post-operative, orthopaedic, or musculoskeletal space.

Marissa has a particular interest in areas like the spine, shoulder, and knees, but her skills are not limited to these areas. Marissa excels at these challenges, always with a warm, caring demeanour that makes a real difference in her patients' lives. She believes that rehabilitation is not just about healing an injury, but also about supporting her patients in preventing further injury or pain, allowing them to continue doing what they love.

When she's not helping her patients, Marissa is a homebody at heart. She recharges by focusing on the simple, rewarding pleasures of gardening, baking, and cooking. These personal passions reflect her nurturing spirit, and they perfectly complement the compassionate care she provides professionally.

Hope Parrocho

Hope Parrocho

Physiotherapist

For Hope, physiotherapy is more than a profession; it's a journey that started with her work as a sports physio in the Philippines. With a 2012 degree from a top university, she developed a deep understanding of prioritising immediate relief while also planning for a complete recovery. Her experience working with high-performance athletes gives her a unique edge in treating complex injuries.

Since moving to Australia in 2017, Hope has been a dedicated physiotherapist in private practice. While she enjoys the challenge of post-operative rehabilitation and has a special interest in the spine, shoulder, pelvis, and headaches, she is highly skilled in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries. Hope firmly believes that the most effective path to recovery combines hands-on manual therapy with strategic exercises to restore optimal strength and function.

Outside of the clinic, Hope channels her passion for movement through dance, a hobby that perfectly complements her professional work. She also finds joy and relaxation in spending time with her dog, Reyna, whose name fittingly means "Queen" in Filipino.

Lachy Moroney

Allied Health Assistant

Studying Physiotherapy at Victoria University, Lachy will likely be the first friendly face you meet at the clinic. With a background that includes working in a hospital setting and engaging in sports physiotherapy roles, Lachy is dedicated to honing his skills and gaining valuable experience in the field.

Passionate about helping the community and those in need, Lachy is equally enthusiastic about exercise and fitness. His interests include football, tennis, and endurance sports. Recently, he completed a marathon and is now training for an Ironman. His bubbly personality will always be up for a conversation about anything related to sport.

Beyond the work and sports life, our energetic receptionist also loves to travel, and has recently backpacked Europe for 3 months. He now has his sights set on Asia and would be interested in any recommendations you may have!

Lachy is excited to be part of a clinic with such warm and educated professionals, and he looks forward to following in their footsteps as he continues his journey in physiotherapy.
